On August 11th 2008 I had ICL surgery done on my right eye (-16, nearsighted)everything went smooth as expected. This is the next day and I can see things that I would of never seen with my "coke bottle" glasses off. Dr. Shahinfar and his staff never get tired of answering questions or making you comfortable. This less than 10 minutes surgery has changed my life.

I am severely nearsighted (-18 left eye with scleral buckle & -16 right eye) This doctor took me in and ran some tests and recommended ICL surgery. The staff is very professional and understand what the patients are going through. The surgery was very successful and the staff made me comfortable. I am now seeing close to 20/20 with my left eye and it has only been 1 week since the operation.

Everything about cataract surgery and what to expect from the new multi-focal lenses was explained to me very thoroughly. The doctor and staff showed extreme skill and care. My family watched my procedure while a trained staff person explained the procedure to them. I recieved a phone call later that day checking to see if I was doing ok. I can't recommend this doctor or facility highly enough....
