I bought a new sewing maching here, and three months later brought it in and got a lesson on how to use it! Frieda showed me all kinds of tricks and how to clean it. They also have great teachers for quilt classes, and a good stock of supplies. Just what Portsmouth needs. July 31st Sew E-Z did a 12-hour charity sew-in for St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children along with Job's Daughters.

Sew E-Z is my first choice when it comes to a Quilt Shop in this area. Freida has the "best" fabric selection "bar none". And if you have an embroidery machine it is a one stop shop with tons of embroidery designs to choose from. They offer a variety of all types of Janome machines and sewing cabinets to fit anyone's sewing needs. I love the classes too!! It is the best therapy going there... more

The best sewing shop in the area. All of the renovations enhance the shop for customers and students. The friendliness of Freida, Jim, Melissa and the other staff members cannot be beat. They are always helpful and eager to make your visit to the shop productive and pleasant. If you want to learn about sewing or quilting this is the place to go.
