I work nearby and have had several of my own clients rave about this place, so I decided to give it a shot. I walked in and stood by the front desk for at least a full 2 minutes before anyone even bothered to say hello. A young girl came from the back and asked if she could help me. I asked if someone might have time for a haircut, and she told me no. A stylist who was working on someone piped up and said that if it was just a cut, she could do it, so the young girl asked for my name and I gave it to her. I was excited about my first visit to Serenity as I live nearby and was hopeful I’d found a new salon. Unfortunately I was severely disappointed with the service I received. From the moment I sat in Ellen's chair she started criticizing the condition of my hair, repeatedly telling me how I had destroyed it-while shaking her head and sucking her teeth.
