Rarely have we been in a mall that has signage as poor as here. And, this is a shame because the quality stores here deserve far better from the mall management.

The construction projects and parking "improvements" that are currently underway make it almost impossible to enjoy Ala Moana Center -- especially given the huge numbers of bussed-in visitors (i.e., tourists) who make it so difficult to walk in the public spaces. Not a place for Honolulu's residents anymore.

This shopping mall is quite large and has shops that are decently priced to high-end, name brand stores. Four stories of shopping along with lower level food court and fourth floor restaurants. You can definitely spend a few hours just looking around. This is an open mall in that you are outside and inside.

Wide variety of stores however, most of the mall stores are geared for international travelers fairly well off. Stores on the top and bottom floors would appeal to the average shopper. The food court is great; large selection of international foods and plenty of seating areas. The shopping center is well maintained and clean.
