Very deceiving bank, first they use SCV ..pretending to be local, they are not, Santa Clara is not....second the staff at the branch super nice....the loan department..wow...horrilble...

Good bank and all. Very friendly customer service. Would really be handy if you had a mobile app for your bank. Would make all aspects of banking more convenient.....

I very much recommend against using SCV Bank. They act like they are a local Santa Clarita community bank but are actually based out of Ventura County. The hours are poor as compared to most banks. Only ONE location is Santa Clarita which is very inconvenient and you get hit with fees if you use an ATM elsewhere. Their regular fees are high, especially for the limited service they provide; the most basic checking account is still $7 a month. If you want to use your ATM more than a certain amount in one day you have to CALL THEM IN ADVANCE and let them know otherwise they will automatically...
