Have been a long-time customer for 10 years. Recently, we did a major renovation of our 1739 farmhouse. Ken Williams, President of Scott-Williams, came in, appraised the situation and set us up with a new furnace, hot water heater and CENTRAL A/C! Not an easy task for a 270 year old home, but the work was done meticulously and with great care. Thanks for the (continued) great service!
I'm a starving musician. Generally I pay my bills on time and do pretty well with it but between traveling tours and dull periods with no work I'm no stranger to being frosted broke or falling behind. I find SW to be as fair and reasonable as any other place I've used, maybe moreso. Their budget plan rocks the casbah, I've not been offered anything like that at my previous locations. I haven't had any of the drama with them I've had with others about oil delivery because they work on a schedule. I never have to call and beg or get charged extra for rush or relighting the flue or whatever it is they do when your oil runs out. The deliveries are timely and without incident. At one point I fell significantly behind on my bill and miraculously was not harassed. (though I wouldn't blame them honestly) When I called to come clean on what I owe the woman on the phone was friendly and helpful and gave me all the info I needed to clean it all up without snarling at me. Simple, straighforward, non-shady. I'm very happy with this company.
As is typical on these sites "Sheila" has attempted to exact revenge on Scott-Williams because we have tried to collect a legitimate debt. More than likely she posts here because she is angry that we have asked her to pay for goods or services that were delivered and she has used.
Her complaints - that we "over-deliver" How do we do that? Most customers are auto delivery and are filled each time? How can you "over-deliver" a full tank? That we ask for payment - of course we do - within 30 days or we offer a "EZ-Pay" budget plan that gives the customer 12 even payments throughout the year. If that is a problem than it must lie with "Sheila" as all companies bill in the same fashion.
"Shenanagins and shady dealings" - just what would those be Sheila? (Or whatever your name is.) It is obvious you are a crank with nothing better to do than exact revenge because you are upset at being asked to pay a legitimate debt. It is a shame that these sites even exist as they give a venue for lowlifes like you to complain. The other 4000 customers are quite happy with us - or they would not be customers now would they? Get a life - if you have a problem call me and I'll resolve it instantly. If not refrain from posting unsubstantiated garbage.

I just had a new Buderus heating system put in to replace my old clunker. The installers, George and Keith, did a wonderful job and left the area cleaner than they found it.
