Dr. Olvey performed surgery on my scaphoid, requiring a screw and bone graph. The bone had deteriorated enough that there was a high risk for failure - which would require the bone to be removed. Most people with this surgery rarely have a 100% recovery, but I can say that I am 100%, and even lift heavy weights.
