They only take cash. Their original smoked ham/w bone is dreadful lacking taste. When you buy strip steaks where they are priced at approx, $23 each(1 1/2 inch thick) and they are not Kobe Beef or from Neiman Ranch, you know you are being jerked on. The sausages are not that distinctive in taste and certainly not in the gourmet arena. The breakfast sausage is so ordinary and bland that it is insulting. Their homemade/prepared foods are, again, ordinary and lack imagination and appropriate herbs/seasoning.

Schmeisser's was founded in 1951 by current owner Kurt Schmeisser's father and grandfather. They offer prime meats, fresh poultry and homemade bratwurst, Polish sausages and Italian sausages.
