A trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo will be one full of action and lot of fun. Children especially will love the original Dentzel Carousel and the zoo train. You can also feed the animals with food specially made for them that is available in the zoo itself. If all that action makes you hungry, there's The Ridley-Tree House Restaurant, serving grilled dishes, sandwiches and salads. The zoo...

This compact zoo's gorgeous grounds shelter elephants, gorillas, exotic birds, and big cats. For small children, there's a scenic railroad and barnyard petting zoo. This is one of the most beautiful zoos I have seen. I love that the animals have so much space, and are very close up. The grounds them self are very well-maintained and landscaped.

Went here over the summer, great place, you c an feed giraffes and get everything done in less than a day. Kind of an issue with the bees and food is terrible.

The pink stucco mansion that once presided over manicured lawns and gardens is gone—replaced by open-air habitats built for the less refined but still exacting tastes of giraffes, elephants, gibbons, snow leopards and gorillas. What hasn't...
