Average and nothing to write home about: I went to Sansei on a Sunday evening, where sushi was half off. It wasn't bad but it wasn't spectacular, either. It just looked really pretty but it didn't have the flavor to match. I don't see the big deal. I'd go again, but it may be my last choice.
The sushi was good. To bad they didn't have anymore fried ice cream. I think that would've been better.

I've eaten at a ton of Japanese restaurants from the SF Bay area and I will say that Sansei has some pretty good sushi.
Its more catered to American's than pure Japanese since the menu isn't even in Japanese so you know this restaurant isn't tailored to that audience.
