Alot has changed for the better in the Clarksville beer scene in the last few years, but unfortunately Sango wine & spirits is not one of them. After having not been in a couple years, I recently decided to see if they've stepped their game up. I arrived to find a sign on the door that read "be back in 5 minutes", after 20 minutes, I left along with the others who were patiently waiting longer...

This store is on par with the rest of the places in Clarksville, which is to say not good. They have a fair selection of imports, but not much when it comes to US craft beer; some Schlafly, Flying dog, Stone, Avery, and a smattering of other breweries. Nothing you couldn't find at any of the other local bottle shops, unless you want some 3+ year old beer collecting dust. I walked out of there...

I will have to agree with not give this establishment an "A" grade. To be honest I wasn't that thrilled at all. They do have a small section of what Tennessee calls "high gravity beers but other than that it is a liquor store and most of their beer was gathering dust. The guy working there didn't really know his beer and then knocked a lot of what they had. I would not go out of my way to go...

I thought they had a decent selection, but they were so over priced. There isnt whole lot to choose from...Just california wine...Would be a good place to check out for different kind of ALE

I don't think this place merits an "A" grade when it is a liquor store first and a craft beer store a distant second, but they do have a varied selection that will bring me back -- including He'brew, Oskar Blues, Stone, as well as some Belgians that might be worth a try. I recently stopped here and purchased a couple singles of Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA and a couple cans of Oskar Blues Gordon....
