Family-owned and operated Mexican restaurant offers traditional fare and a wide variety of margaritas.
Any time I am even near Houston or Galveston, Texas, I make this one of my "must do" stops! The food and service is top notch and reasonably priced. Service is fairly quick, chips are excellent and the warm salsa outstanding! Fajitas pablano best dish on the Menu, followed closely with the beef flamada.
Friendly, family atmosphere...always support local sports teams ... great cheese enchilada plate with rice and beans for $5. My husband's favorite is the chili relleno. There are lunch specials. They have fancier Mexican dishes and the old favorites.
Typical tex mex food unless you order off the specialty menu. Those items are much better. But the margaritas are really good and I always go home happy! ;)
The wait staff and bartender are extremely efficient.
We were seated immediately on a Friday night, which is always nice! My kids are picky eaters, but they ate all of their quesadillas and fajita tacos. The food had always been delicious and I really like their salsa. It's definitely not "Pace". We finished off our meal with some yummy sopapillas.
