SF public library is the best place for studying. The place is so vast and they got extensive array of books. They also have internet access - lower level and most floors. The lower level - only for 15 minutes but the other levels - you have to get yourself an appointment. As good as it sounds, the library is not located in a good area - no parking and they are many bums infront of the library.... more

This library is one of the largest libraries in the bay area. If you ever need a book, movie or any type of reference that you cannot find, this is the place for you.

It seems like this library has about 100 floors. I enjoy the computer area the best because you can do all kinds of research: both library based and google based. There is always someone around to help you.

No surprise that the Main Branch Library would be the largest branch and with the largest selection of books within San Francisco's public library. With multiple floors and nooks, I found it very easy to find a place to bury myself in my studies.
