I love the opera house! It has a wonderful old feeling. If visiting San Francisco, go there, and you can't miss. Everything there is first class. They have the very best shows, the very best costumes, and the performers are always top notch.

The opera in SF is absolutely amazing. Tosca was the best one last season, but there's something amazing every year, so I make a point of going to everything that I haven't seen before.
Simple advice on battling the prices: come to the box office on the day of the performance, and ask for either student tickets ($15), or standby tickets ($10, but you do have to stand through the first act -...

The San Francisco Opera Association is amazing...it must be even Richard Gere flew Julia Roberts all the way there in Pretty Woman, why not just see the LA Opera? Because the SF Opera Hall is far superior! The price is a little high, but the subscription prices are a good deal and you deserve it...makes a great holiday treat!
