I adopted my cat from the Humane Society and it was a great experience. You are able to view all the different cats and even interact with them. The cats are kept humanely in roomy cages and they even feed them Iams food! There is a fee for adopting your pet, but it will be up to date on all shots and spayed or neutered.

I know everybody wants a purebread dog or cat, but cmon. There are thousands of animals put down every day because noone wants them. The Humane Society does everything in its power to stop this from happening. We have gotten two dogs from here (one from the helen woodward up in Del Mar which is great) and they are part of our family. The kennels are kept clean and the dogs/cats seemed well...
