Sam's is closed vacated. Door is locked no sign cooler still present but that's about it. Called number because maybe they moved but it is disconnected. John

This is a combo deli bakery cafe that serves traditional kosher fare and lots of it! Service has always been good. Problem is they close by 7 everyday but you can duck in for an early dinner and won't be sorry.

I miss the employees and the food. Unlike what others said, I found the waitresses (and even Bruce) to be very friendly. When they were busy, they would hustle to get the food out quickly. It was one of my favorite places to go.

Have been in there after church several times. While the food was good, the owners just aren't friendly and treat you like you are in a diner in Brooklyn.
Food is authentic though.

Owners Bruce and Etty Blackman have been running this traditional kosher restaurant for 26 years, and have been located in Sacramento since 1996.
