Finger licking good!

The salt lick is an Austin tradition. You can get things the way you like it or you can get family style. Family Style means a little of everything and everyone shares. The brisket is always tender, the potato salad made just right and it has the atmosphere of a good small town restaurant. It is one of our favorite places to gather with friends and hang out!!

Not as good as the original

I went here because it's much closer than the one in Driftwood. I don't know if it is because of the location or if it's because I'm not sitting on a picnic bench, but the food just didn't seem to taste as good. A waste of money. I know my BBQ and this is not good BBQ. The beef ribs were extremly dry... So dry that it felt i was eating jerky. My boyfriend had the chicken and brisket and also dry and salty! The saddest part is that my boyfriend and I drove all the way from Houston just to eat at this BBQ joint. Definitely a let down. The sides are a disgrace and their sauce is not good either.
