Great haircut and facial!

This place is pricey but I had the best haircut I have ever recieved, from Violet. Also I had a collagen treatment from Livia, who is new, and she is a sweet heart. I will definately be back because these people really know what they are doing.

In Short Considered by many to be the best hair salon in town, Mario Russo caters to Boston's power crowd. The chic salon fits in with its upscale neighbors--the Ritz, Cartier and Akris.The services are fairly basic, from highlights to straightening. They do branch out to makeup and nails however, so it's a good spot to get ready before a night on the town.

Rossanne Lopez has been doing my hair for MANY years - She is amazing! She always spends time consulting with me beforehand about the color/cut. Many hairstylists in the past have dyed my hair too brassy or to light of a blond and the roots would grow back very quickly. Rossanne always works with me to make sure I get the ashy blond I love! I have always hated my hair - it's so fine that I look like I have about half as much as I should. My wedding was coming up and I found reviews for Rossanne Lopez of Salon Mario Russo - many clients said that she knows how to deal with all types of hair. I thought I'd give her a shot, especially since I was getting married so close to the salon.

While I would love to have my hair done by Mario himself, my pockets do not reach so deep. I am not very good at scheduling ahead of time and usually just call to see if anyone is available on the day I feel desperate for a good cut. I have no fear doing this becuase everyone is so talented at Mario Russo and they always listen to what I want.
