Touristy, But For a Good Reason!. Yes, Garrett Popcorn is a big tourist trap, but holy cow, it is really freakin good! I'm not a huge popcorn fan, but their caramel cashew corn is simply divine.

Garrett’s just had this really rich cheesy taste to it while the caramel in the Chicago mix has a crunchy, sweet taste to it. When it comes to popular, tourist attraction establishments, Garrets Popcorn Shops may top the list.  People come from far and wide to try their famous popcorn.  But, I see just as many locals doing the same... and I am guilty of this crime.  Garrets has been dishing out bags of popcorn for decades and secretly pumping the incredible smell into the streets of Chicago.
