Good Food, Good Service

Spent a few days in Montauk. Had breakfast and lunch at Salivars on two seperate days. Food was very good. Very filling..... and service was great. Had the same waitress both days. Nice to see a friendly...

Salivars is home of the world famous great white shark caught in June 1964 by Frank Mundus who inspired the captain in the movie "Jaws." Salivars is a late night salty dive where local fisherman have traded their stories for years. It offers a full bar with a jukebox, pool table, darts and tobacco. The attached restaurant serves breakfast lunch and dinner.
