La Veta is an interesting mountain town, and Ryus Avenue bakery offers good sandwiches and other luncheon items in an interesting setting. The grilled cheese with bacon was extraordinary as was the roasted beet salad. Breads and cookies recommended. The diners all seemed pleased to be there.
