You'll be served rare USDA Prime cuts of filet mignon, porterhouse, and T-bone, with chicken and lobster items for the non-hoofer. Side orders -- garlic-mashed potatoes, broccoli au gratin, creamed spinach -- are served รก la carte.... more

This is one time when fine dining is all about a single ingredient and a virtually unadorned presentation. The lone element is a steak. The vehicle is a plain white plate. It's that simple. And it doesn't get any better than this. The ambience of the restaurant, located in what once was the men's department of the old Scarbrough's Department Store, remains one of the classiest in the area.

I had the bone in ribeye and it was amazing. The service was prompt and casual not stuffy like Perry's. I would diffenantley fo back.

Honestly I struggle between 2 and 3 stars. We really had high hopes for our dinner at Ruth's Chris but were sadly disappointed. The meat was basically flavorless - our 16 yr old could have made a better steak! Seasoned with only salt and pepper - just blah! I have to agree with another posting about the au gratin potatoes - cheap cheese, no seasoning - the only saving grace was the... more

My hubby had fond memories of Chicago and Huston and had wanted to take me out for a specail diner. This was not it. Louie tried, bless his heart, you can't blame the wait staff for dirty knives and horrid food they just get stuck on the front line. We came away with this. The meat was cooked perfectly and the wine Louie recomended was great. Go in order a plate of meat and some wine and call... more
