E.W. James came into all the old Winn-Dixie stores across Lexington and in Richmond. We went to the one on Leestown road to check it out. And we weren't that impressed. Not only did it pretty much look exactly as Winn-Dixie did when it was there, the prices were higher. Imagine my surprise when I found out that they were way overpriced and didn't seem to carry as many varieties as Winn Dixie did. Their pharmacy is doing the same superb work as they always did. I've always gotten along well with the pharmacy staff and they have been incredibly helpful. It's a shame that they're in such a crappy supermarket. If you just need to pick up something on the way home, or if you're just getting lottery tickets or ice, feel free to stop here. But if you're going to do some serious shopping to stock your own shelves, steer clear of this store. You'll spend about 20% more here than you would anywhere else.
