And destroyed some of my landscaping, a freshly painted wall and a new sink during a re-pipe job. They also scratched my brand new tub after they put it in. The tile guy had to come back twice to fix all his mistakes he made because he rushed the job and grouted right after he put the thin-set on the tile. You're supposed to wait a while before you grout, but he didn't and it messed up the job. The grout on one side didn't match the grout on the other side. They were a little cheaper so we went with them, but we paid for it in aggravation. They did not care about my house and trashed it every time they came in. They tried to fix the things they broke, but then something else would get broken while they were fixing it. My God, I've never seen such incompetence! They (Mike in particular) have solved some difficult drainage problems for me. The plumber tested the toilets performance by flushing paper towels. Some weeks later a horrific sewage backup appeared elsewhere in the house. I called another plumber who revealed the source of the backup was the paper towels that some idiot had flushed down the toilet! More recently, I had a plumbing emergency. Called two other plumbers who either never called me back or called back after several hours. Vereen sent a man out within about 15 minutes and he did a good job. My take is that Vereen's quality all depends on who they send out. The first time out they did the job unclogging my drain and charged me $165. plus another $44.00 for a simple cartridge for my shower.I called them out to unclog my drain again but this time the plumber was angry and short with his answer. My shower still dripped and the plumber bent the faceplate on my shower and just left it.What a ripoff. They charged me $237.25 We called the office but they didn't want to refund any money. They informed me that the leak was coming from my washing machine, and should promptly stop flooding. The very next day, the floor was wetter and wetter and water continued to move outward. There was absolutely no water under the washing machine. Called the guys again and two different ones arrived promptly. They found that the leak was coming not from the washing machine hose, but from the nearly adjacent toilet. These two fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. I would not recommend them however, because there was no excuse or plausible reason for the error in fixing the problem.
