I located Dr. Clemetson by googling for a dentist who is familiar with special needs patients because my autistic spectrum daughter needed some dental work done. Dr. Clemetson met with us for a lengthy consultation (no charge, by the way), and could not have been more responsive to all of our questions or more sensitive to our daughter's special concerns. We were extremely impressed with him, so we began with scheduling our daughter for teeth cleaning. The dental hygienist, Michelle, is an angel. She was extremely careful about cleaning our daughter's teeth thoroughly, but without causing her pain. I'm dental phobic myself from a particularly nasty tooth cleaning while I was pregnant (child birth was less painful than that cleaning). Michelle has me willing to get back in that dental chair again. Another thing I really appreciate about Dr. Clemetson's office is that they are very clear and upfront about what the various procedures will cost before you authorize them. You don't have to be embarrassed about asking what things cost because you don't have to ask: they offer the information. They have recently moved their offices to 1700 Pacific.
