I found out about the italian festival on kidspages when we were looking for something fun to do on Saturday. We decided to go an check it out, and it was a wonderful experience! I couldn't believe how much food they were giving away, all to benefit the Childrens Hospital. Virgilio is truly a wonderful person to give away so much food and not reap any financial benefit from it. He wanted to help all of the many kids in need at the children's hospital and I hope he succeeded! The pizza was so yummy! The crust was perfect, everything a pizza crust should be...crispy, chewy and flavorful! I hope that everyone there gave a generous amount of money for the food they received. I have a 13 month old nephew that was born with a whole in his heart. He is having open heart surgery this coming Tuesday in Florida where he lives.
