I ordered an assortment of nigiri-2 Tuna's, 2 Salmons, snow crab, shrimp and an order of Toro. When I ordered the Toro sushi, I was told it was $15 for 2 pieces- pretty pricey for a Burbank place. I actually wondered later if it was the server knowing the Toro was bad and hoping an expensive price would drive most away. Anyways, aside from the rest of the sushi being extremely average, the Toro was noticeably different colored on the outside from the inside. They have shared their special sake, health secrets, and recommendations for pets with us. We recently went in to celebrate the purchase of our first home, they sensed our excitement - asked about it - and rewarded us with unique delicacies, hugs, and genuine enthusiasm. It's a friendly place, where the owners are personable and concerned with making your experience a pleasant one. There are pictures of customers all over the restaurant, and the atmosphere is casual and friendly and fun. The food is delicious - we tried sushi (fresh and yummy) and regular menu items (salmon teriyaki, udon, & oysters).
