The food is good, and the staff friendly, with regular check-ins. We ordered drinks and after waiting 15 mins started getting a little angry. We grabbed the Manager and explained. Not only did he not believe us, but he kept waiting even longer. The Waiter had been rude from the beginning and this made it worse. I myself have been a Waitress and love large parties of six or more. It's easier to make a large amount of money faster because gratuity is included. This meal took two hours! Service was terrible, the meal that wasn't tasty enough ended up costing $200 + 18% gratuity. It's up to you.... Although sometimes crowded, the Farm is generally a good choice if you are either shopping in the Grove or want to see a movie at the theater. The Farm's cuisine is generally American with salads, burgers, wraps, seafood, etc. but they also have some Pacific flourishes on the menu. And it's in The Grove, which is kitschy in it's own right, so take it for what it is! I thought the service was great...attentive and friendly. And yeah, it's not Carl's Jr. prices, but anyone that would rate a Carl's burger higher, won't appreciate The Farm no matter how good the food, service and ambiance is. Mind you, the restaurant was about 30% full at this point. We had to stop another busboy to ask for the complementary bread that we weren't offered. The actual meal was above average: crispy savory fries, a stuffed baguette, and quite tasty ahi tuna salad, but pretty overpriced in comparison to similar-classed restaurants. They made us feel as if we were priviledged to be dining there - those desiring service and value beware! I decided to just get one of their huge brownies and a blended coffee drink. We returned after the movie for dinner, starved. The waiter was very informative and directed us to an Ahi Three Ways and a Blue Cheese Crusted Steak, which was indeed amazing. I might feel a little uncomfortable eating a steak next to someone in the theater, but I will always get one on the way out!
