I was told by an experienced mechanic (who could not work on my car due to personal matters) that my vehicle needed alignment. My father, who has years of experience working on cars, said the same thing. I have driven long enough to know when my vehicle needs alignment as well. The employee I spoke with on the phone said my car did not need alignment but to bring it in and he would "check it out" (strange that he "knew" it wasn't the alignment over the phone). Against my better judgment I sent husband in with our vehicle. They had posters near the phones with tips on how to up sale and explanations of basic repair issues I would expect people entrusted with my vehicle to already know. The employees tried to convince my husband that it wasn't the alignment without even looking at our car. Ha! Then someone grabbed the keys and took off in our car, driving it out of sight (without my husbands permission). He texted me saying the employees were really shady and aggressive at that point. We came to the conclusion that something was really wrong with this whole scenario and that they were likely planning on causing some form of damage to our vehicle; causing a much more expensive repair/service than the alignment.
