I've been a loyal customer to this company for two years, going to them twice a year to swap out my summer & winter tires. But in April 2005, they said they found a staple in the sidewall of my tire. They also told me my tires were too worn, and that I needed 4 new tires. I was skeptical at first, but when I saw the tire, it became totally clear that they had placed a paper staple in the sidewall of my tire (because you can not patch anything on the sidewall). The paper staple was on the inside wall of the tire. After my mechanic friends looked at it, they confirmed there was NO WAY that it occurred from driving.
