Car was there about a week. I drove by on my way to and from work and it was in the same spot, day after day, near the street, so I could even see the pan dropped and sitting under the car - as it rained. Finally got the car back, drove down the street to get the oil changed - only to have the tech call me into the bay to show me that there was water in the transmission fluid. So I drove back to Snider and asked them to please fix this - transmission fluid isn't supposed to look like "Strawberry Quik". The transmission was never right. Every time I started the car it would drive for about a block and then pop out of gear. If I turned off the car, let it sit, and then started it again it would finally work, but it was a constant challenge. The third time I took it back and asked them to Please Get It Right the young man who was the office manager got in my face and screamed at me. I never went back - and I cannot recommend that anyone else go, either. Slow service, abusive-hot tempered young office manager, brush-offs if they don't want to get to you because they can't figure it out, only happy to see you if it's easy. You deserve it. http://www.yellowbot.com/snider-transmission-league-city-tx.html When I brought my car in they told me they couldn't tell what was wrong with it until they took it apart.After they took it apart they said they needed to rebuild the transmission and it would cost $2500.I asked if they would just put a new one in and they said ot would be more expensive.I argued that the tranny for my car new is only 1800 and labor for a new one would be less time.They told me they knew what was best and if I didn't want to leave it there it would be $500 for me to pick it up because they took it apart to see what was wrong with it.They called a week later and said they fixed it and put it back in but it's not working correctly.I wish I would have not let them tell me they knew what was best b/c that is not the case.Now it's 2 1/2 weeks.I still don't have my car & it has been in the same spot for at least 5 days.When I went in to talk to them the guy wouldn't even get off the phone so I could talk to him.He stayed on the phone while I tried to ask him some questions.He said my car was in the same spot b/c they needed to wait for room in the shop and he would have to talk to me later. Well I found from an inside source that people who brought their car after me were getting a spot in the shop before me b/c their car was an easier fix. I wish I had more space to explain how awful this place has been b/c there is more.I would like to think they are doing their best but when someone doesn't want to talk to you about the service they are providing then there is defiately something wrong.I call & they won't even tell me if it's going to cost me more or what & they won't return my calls when they don't know the answers right away.I have contacted the police & the County Commissioner.I don't think car places should get away with this kind of thing.I am a hard working person who is trying to raise a family & shouldn't be taken advantage of.They did give me a rental but I still have to pay for insurance on it and after this long its like paying a car note.
