This location is hit and miss..

This is probably not one of the best HEB's, maybe even below average.. but occasionally, you are bound to find something interesting that other stores just don't carry. In terms of size and selection, this store is about average with a notable selection of Latin products. There is no meat market, and the meat they do sell here is almost always of a lower cut and quality in comparison to other stores. Some customers may be put off by the selection of brains, hooves, bones, and other organs, but more adventurous eaters may be impressed with the fact that this store carries several cuts of Goat. Their seafood selection is also small, but they do offer certain kinds of fish not found at other locations.. only problem with this being, is that their seafood is almost never fresh and can be smelled across the meat and produce sections. The smell of the seafood section can be very off-putting and hard to tolerate, but occasionally you might come across a fresh, whole shark, which is pretty impressive. When it comes to produce, this store offers a good selection with many choices that seem to be more catered to the Hispanic market. The produce here shouldn't disappoint most customers. Also if you are looking for Latin products, you shouldn't be disappointed with their selection. Overall I would recommend this location for their selection of Latin products, produce, and sometimes more adventurous selections of meat and fish. You may leave this place empty-handed, but you just might find what your looking for too.

I totally agree with the previous reviewer, John F. Firstly, there are certainly a lot more hispanic products in the aisles compared to other H-E-B's. Generally, they are some of the first things you???

Since nobody has reviewed this place yet, I will go ahead and be the first to do so. This ginormous grocery was built in direct competition to Fiesta that is right across the Bellaire. As you go???
