Great Small Plates That Can Fill You Up

I took my girlfriend out to dinner at Stanton Social last month and we absolutely loved it. We had kobe beef sliders which were absolutely delicious as well as some rather tasty small tapa like plates. The ambiance was very modern and comfortable. I definitely suggest this place if you are looking for a nice small plates kind of dinner place.

second times a charm

i went to the stanton social for the first time this summer and finally made my way back tonight. for the second time the food and service did not disappoint. i ate in the lounge upstairs and had to be rolled down the stairs on the way out. everything from the kobe beef burgers, onion soup, zucchini tempura, and even the chicken waffles was amazing. each dish was inventive and burst of flavor in your mouth. word around town is that the owners are making plans for a new restaurant... please keep me informed! this is by far one of my favorite places in the city!

We really enjoy eating here.

We ate at Stanton Social this week-- probably our tenth time there. The food is still delicious-- among them the pierogies, soup dumplings, the doughnuts. This time we had chicken and waffles (tasty) and a steak in bleu cheese sauce (also good). The dining room is the same-- earthy and a bit industrial. The staff was very friendly-- though we always get the feeling that if they could rush us they would-- we are just clear about pacing our order and asking for time before ordering dessert. Our waiter was very gracious about giving us time to sit before deciding. A few weeks ago we were at the upstairs lounge-- very crowded but we were craving the food so it worked out well.

Fabulous Weekend Brunch!

went to Staton Social this morning and the experience was so wonderful i had to write my review!! I have heard such great things about this restaurant but recent reviews had me concerned. Went for a 1 pm brunch with a party of 5 and was seated immediately. Our waiter was very knowleagable and completely welcoming. The menu was amazing and since I am a vegeterian my options are always limited-- not at Stanton Social. We were all able share 6 delicious small plates and they were amazing!!! absolutely loved the food definitely interested in the seeing what a dinner would be like. Would highly recommend brunch to anyone!!

Don't Pass The Salt

A lovely environment, good service, but *all* the food was heavily salted. I was shocked. There were four of us and we ordered all the signature dishes and more, yet all were disappointing and overly salted. Why? To push us to buy more drinks? Make us thirsty? Nothing stood out as exceptional. The presentation was great; but the food generally was disappointing. Too bad. I had higher hopes.

Late Snacks at Stanton Social

Over the weekend, I wanted to go brunching for some reason. Maybe because of feeling restless from sitting on my butt in front of my laptop writing papers ENDLESSLY or studying from law textbooks just makes me want to blind myself? Possibly… So, for a few days before Saturday, I’ve contacted my almost dependable fooding [...]

I've been had

Went with a large group and the waitress said "let me bring some stuff for the table." Big mistake - a ton of plates that nobody really wanted, and a huge bump on the final bill that was a little shocking. My hangar steak (TOO small) came out with the apps. For what they charge that is unexceptable. A cheap bottle of wine does not really exist here. Pretty people, but not worth it.

Brunch Tapas: Fabulous!

This is one of the best brunch spots I've been to. Two of us shared three plates and left feeling satisfied. The menu had so many options, it was hard to choose. First, the heuvos rancheros were so filling, eggs fluffy, chorizo not too spicy. The biscuit and sausage slider was delicious, the biscuit soft and not overwhelmed with creamy gravy. And the frites with chili mayo were crisp and hot and hit the spot. We can't wait to go back to taste the plates we didn't have room for.

Great Brunch

I love brunch here. Just like their dinners, they expect guests to share each plate. Between my boyfriend and I, we shared 3 plates, and it was perfect. While it's not as cheap as other LES stops, it was definitely reasonably priced for the quality and presentation of the food and the atmosphere the restaurant provides. The brunch menu was one of the most exciting brunch menus I have seen in awhile, and I go out to brunch every weekend. I look forward to coming back soon!

the best in NYC

Stanton Social is the best tapas restauarants in NYC. The food is unreal. We loved the goat cheese perogies, brie & peach quesadillas, corn dogs, kobe beef burgers and french onion soup dumplings most! Expect to share a lot, it is not cheap but it is incredible. Their donuts and dipping sauces are to die for! Go there and ENJOY :)

Social Skillz, or the lack thereof

From a mix of superstar restauranteurs, The Stanton Social serves up an “eclectic international menu” and gets a fair amount of media shout-outs for it’s famous Kobe beef burgers and celeb sightings. FOOD (15/20): The menu offers choices to make everybody happy and it’s particularly good if you are dining [...]

Stanton Social

New Yorkers love having choices. Corner bodegas can carry a dozen kinds of bottled water, from flat to fizzy, purified to natural springs, flavored to vitamin-enhanced. There are now at least five cupcake-cranking dessert meccas to choose from on the tiny chunk of Manhattan below 23rd Street. Stacks of delivery menus in your average NYC apartment read like a list of attending countries at the U.N.

Stanton Social

Carebear planned a fun night of dinner and drinks for 007's surprise birthday party. And the spot? Stanton Social . It was a perfect lively place for the occasion. The decor seemed very typical of the Manhattan trendy joint: hardwood walls, austere design, and nifty lighting. I got a quick glimpse of the bar/smaller dining area downstairs before I was swept away upstairs to our table.

My Dinner At Stanton Social

One of my favorite things about going to weddings…well, wait, let me rephrase. One of the ONLY things I like about going to weddings (other than witnessing the joyful bliss known as wedlock) is the cocktail hour.
