Hair lays well and looks like it will stay good for a while. The issue with this place is their ability to do nails and the attitude of the manager when given very polite feedback on the quality of the job done by her employee. The manicure/pedicure was poorly done with dirt and cuticles still on the nails. It only got worse when the nail polish was applied - first to only 2/3rds of the nail (making it look as if the nails were done weeks ago and they had grown out), and then the sloppy application of polish that was not cleaned up at the end. Nail polish was on the fingertips, knuckles etc. After getting the toe nails redone and the fingernails redone twice, we finally gave up. There was nothing available to dry her nails with (after asking we got a 3 inch cheap fan) so drying needless to say took a while as well. We approached the store manager and explained the poor quality of the nail job, and she very defensively grabbed my wife by her wrist and drug her outside to look at her nails in the sunlight, and then explained that her employee had done nails for her for 5 years, and what my wife received was an excellent job. After this we requested some sort of discount, and she said to be happy for she was to give us $5 off. This was an insult considering the poor quality and overall price of $52, so we told her it was not sufficient and she very reluctantly gave us $10 back and then walked away from us. In all it took 4 and 1/2 hours to get a shampoo, trim, straightening and manicure/pedicure. She listened to what I wanted and did a great job with the color. Parking is good and the price was comparable to any high end salon. I felt comfortable there and the people are nice and down to earth, not snobby like some high end salons. The milkshake product is absolutely great and smells so good. The smell last forever and my hair felt so soft. They frequently have great sales (up to 40% off) on economy size hair products. They have hair straighteners on sale and staff was friendly and demonstrated the straighteners. The stylist took the time to listen to what I wanted done, and checked as she was going to make sure she was doing what I wanted. Also, she gave me a scalp massage while washing my hair! I have also gotten my eyebrows waxed there and was very pleased with the results. My pedicure there was not the best; my nail polish wasn't applied right and didn't last long. I will probably not go there again for one, it wasn't worth the price. But all of the other services are very affordable and well worth the money spent.
