This is mall-like area with numerous eateries, local shopping, historic houses, and a large two-story cinemaplex. So far it's still trying to attract businesses so it's not the hot spot they tout it to be (as of Dec 2004) but it does hope to be so by the fall of 2005. The Riverfront attraction is accessable via the popular Water Taxi, or by car by simply driving west from the beach on Las Olas until it ends. Both self and valet parking are available for a fee.
