Lauderdale we stayed at the Mariott at Beach Place. Coming in late one night we were hungry and were told by the front desk to order from Downtown Pizzeria. We ordered a cheese Calzone. It arrived hot in about 15 minutes and WOW! It was the most delicious thing I have ever eaten. They mix their cheese with a feta that is amazing. So amazing that I ordered a spinach the next day was was just as satisfied. The marinera sauce is also amazing. I would recommend Downtown Pizzeria to anyone in the area.
