When I returned after living in New York and New Jersey I was stunned by just how bad the local pizza was. Thick, doughy, chewy like catsup on thick bread. But then I found Gino & Joes. One of only 2 real NY Style pizzerias in the city (the other is Zetti's) if you like thin crust, great sauce, large slice pizza this is the place to go! Just wish they had more stores and were open on weekends and nights.
