Bread is always fresh, several kinds to choose from. Sandwitches and burgers have all impressed me , love the homemade veggie burgers. You can create your own salad, sandwitch/burger or pizza. She was unable to identify vegan options on the menu and was reluctant to provide satisfactory ingredient lists for their menu items. After ten minutes of fruitless discussion, they called over a vegan employee who was able to set us straight. That being said, the veggie burger was excellent, and the hummus was above average. The food was ok, I had to return my laz. because it was cold throughout and my party thought the pizza was just so.. so.. The thing that got us was the signs on the table that said Please bust your own tables with a tip jar at the front counter. So we are tipping to bust our own tables, you don't leave a tip for taking an order, it's your job. GREAT pizza which they will sell by the slice, great atmosphere for sitting around talking with friends, an attached bookstore with "quiet" tables for sitting and reading with food, a really cool toystore also attached. All sorts of healthy choices available also, such as salads made to your desires and sandwiches ditto. Soups are good, wide variety of beverages.
