I called Pickerings, reamed them...said I know you guys are going to probably lie to me just like every other repair shop. But my neighbor swore they were good guys. I took my car in that had an electrical problem. At least that's what I thought. They called me at the end of the day to let me know it was a simple loose connection and only charge the diagnosis fee. I can't believe it. This is too good to be true. Especially in this economy. You just expect to be taken advantage of. They must have done something to my radio antenia too, because I'm getting better reception. Strong recommendation. They really are good people. The one time we used them we were very satisfied with the work that was done by them. I received a call back from the mechanic, he said my car didn't need an alignment, that my tires were out of round. That was what caused my vehicles poor performance. At first I didn't believe him. I had never heard of an out of round tire before. Anyway I took the tires back to the "discount" tire place I bought them from, and got them replaced free. So these guys saved me a ton of money, and I got 4 new tires! He could have said some other line of bs, and kept charging me for additional work that I didn't need, but he didn't. They were honest and had integrity. I recommend them for sure. Pros + Pleasant atmosphere Cons - Can be pricey but then what auto repair shop isn't?
