I was all excited for a big juicy steak, but in the end we were both a little let down. First of all, the seating is a little cramped. We were sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant, and it was a little tricky getting in and out, especially with a dress on. Secondly, the food was good, but not great. We ordered the tuna tartar and a specialty shrimp dish appetizer. The tuna tarter was bland, but the shrimp were ok. We then decided on splitting the porterhouse for two with mashed potatoes and asparagus for our sides. The steak was good, flavorful and tender, but not anything special. To finish it off, we ordered the chocolate souffle - bad decision. The souffle wasn't very warm when it got to us, and it was a little chewy. I would take the souffle from Roy's over this one any day. Overall, the food was decent, but at the exhorbitant prices (nearly $300 for two of us including a couple of drinks each, tax, and tip), I would recommend going elsewhere. Try Fogo de Chao.
