I had yet to try Brick Dome Pizza, and after reading some stellar reviews, I decided to place an order for delivery. I saw the prices listed online and I thought they were high, but I was willing to pay the price for a good experience. I ordered a medium pizza (which is approximately 10'' in diameter) with two toppings on half the pizza and the other half just cheese. When I pizza arrived, I was appalled and utterly surprised to see the bill was just under $20- BEFORE tip. The pizza was tiny, the toppings flavorless, and the delivery fee was an outrageous $5, which is not specified on their menu. Truthfully, the pizza tasted like I made it in the oven (or even the microwave), possibly worse. They claim to have "New York style" pizza, but it doesn't even come close. I truthfully ate better pizza in Mexico, at a three star all-inclusive resort. I love all their pizzas, but the four-cheese takes the top spot on my favorites list. I really like that their pizza comes on a thin crust. The dough is crisp and also tasty, not like that of other pizza chains. After I started eating their pizza, i never ordered from other pizzerias anymore. When you're in the mood for pizzas or even for chicken wings, you should try the scrumptious, comforting and pleasantly addictive food Brick Dome has to offer. They have a system and you can actually just tell them my usual. The pizza came on time the driver was funny i met them on the ground floor but he followed me up stairs since we are a hospital. I dont know about the other review but the person we ordered with was a sweet tiny voiced girl and she was very pleasant. Its actually a releif that the person on the other line speaks good english normally i get frustrated ordering delivery becasue of language barrier. Thanks Brick Dome. The biggest problem I had with the place was the delivery guy, this surly older man. He would never bring the pizza up to our office, even though I would repeatedly tell him and the person I ordered from how to get into the building and that he needed to bring it to us. So, I had to come down the nine floors and go outside to get the pizza (and it always a lot), and I was still tipping the guy just to be nice (even though he was literally pulling up in his car and handing me the pizzas). Finally, the last time I ordered from him he pulled the same "Don't have time to park, you have to come down" bullsh*t. So I went down and paid him and only tipped him 4 bucks. He shook his head and literally threw the pizza boxes into my chest. I haven't ordered from them since and I refuse to. We did order calzones, mozzarella sticks, and a salad for delivery. Everything arrived either hot or cold as it should be. The calzones were large, well-stuffed, and delicious. The salad (house special) had lots of stuff besides lettuce and the cilantro lemon dressing was fantastic. Really fresh and sparkling. The mozzarella sticks were good as well. A little less than 40 minutes for delivery in the early evening. Will definitely try a pizza next time. The pizza was almost as boring as making your own dough with Jiffy bake dough at home. It was also OUTRAGOUSLY overpriced for the size and toppings.
