The rooms are nice enough but its the service you get here that I love most. The doorman is always helpful, they know me by name, give me upgrades, etc. It also seems to be the place for business. The hotel lobby has a water atrium, bar and lots of good looking people. I usually get my room for $150 a night. I highly recommend this place. We were told to leave the building immediately. When we got outside to the street, the guests were going back into the lobby. It was a false alarm. No one from the hotel staff spoke to us and none of them said we had to wait until the fire department arrived and shut off the alarm. The only word we had was that passed from the other guests. There was no attempt to see if we were comfortable or needed any help.
