If traveling from the airport, take the r1 train as it will take you right to the hotel and it will save you the fixed rate $30.00 cab ride. Get a week long trans pass for all septa routes while there for $20.00. Nicely appointed room. Very clean. Attractive lobby.2 very loud bar/restaurants with mundane to sub par fare. At 1am a recorded announcement looped for 10 minutes declaring there could be a fire in the building and everyone should stay in their rooms and out of elevators and stairwells. (When I am on the 11th floor of a building that is possibly on fire I would like to use the stairwell.) Shortly thereafter a person came on and repeated the same thing saying the fire dept was on its way. Decided it was not acceptable and called the desk at that point. They said it was just the alarm. More clear instructions should be given including when we could be expecting further instructions. This went till 2 a.m. and the "all clear" an hour later was not very clear.
