The Royal Sonesta was a great find. Not a bargain hotel, but a reasonable price and a great value. It is literally steps away from the Science Center and close to the T. It has decent accommodations and some nice perks - CD player/clock radio in room, indoor pool, on site parking (which was included in our 129/night rate), two queen beds and shampoo AND conditioner ;). Hotel is great place to stay - convenient - across street from Cambridge Galleria (Cheesecake Factory, Papa Razzi) and down the street from Lechmere T stop providing easy access to Boston. Nice pool, friendly service. Great view of Charles River and Boston.
