This place has been closed for business since at least June 2013.....
It was a stuffy place that tries but fails consistently, plus the block its located on is a dying block as neighboring business had closed also!

Very Fun People here, the town is excellent, the food here
as well, nice place, we really enjoyed the time here,
wonderful Mountain Community, any time of year !!

It's really gone downhill

This place smells like mildew and mold and the furniture is falling apart. The food is okay, but this is not the Royal Oak of several years ago. It's become a run down, hole in the wall with line cooks masquerading as chefs.
Service is good, food is average, atmosphere is horrible. The place smells. Check your chair carefully before...

The food is at, or above, average, and the servers know your name. Or you can hang out in the bar, lean on the counter, sing along with the piano player. It's not up to date, and thank goodness for that!

You'll love the traditional English fare at the Royal Oak. It's a Lake Arrowhead iconic location. Prices are steep, so be prepared! With that said - totally worth it. If you've got a singing voice...go on Friday or Saturday nights and slip into the Piano bar to sing to Steve Lawless' excellent piano playing!!!!
