My wife and I have loved this place since we moved to Illinois. The food is an old fashion Red-Sauce restaurant with milk fed veal and huge portions. My only complaint is that the service is spotty. The manager of this location is a gem and would jump off the building for his customers but the waiters we have experienced are not up to par. We have needed to ask more than once for the same...

Service and food were good. Portions are always big. Eggplant could have been hotter We made reservation for 5 as there were no 6pm. Restaurant was empty at 5 and 50% full at and after 6pm Again food, service were good and will continue to go back and recommend

I can only assume the people giving four and five stars are meaning to review the downtown location. This place is a ridiculous disaster. Service, food, management, etc etc. Train wreck.
