For over 20 years, RoseAngelis has occupied the cozy environs of a former bakery on a quiet stretch of Wrightwood Avenue ...in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. "Enormous" portions of "delicious" "homemade" Italian fare offered at "beyond reasonable" tabs make this Lincoln Park vet a "favorite" while the "romantic", "cozy house" setting ensures it a "date destination"; add in "friendly" service and fans say it "never disappoints."
Such a little Italian treasure tucked into the side streets of Lincoln Park.
A rambling kind of place with more than a few murals to mull over, this restaurant is often packed. The draws are the huge portions and low prices. But we also appreciate the menu, which goes beyond respectable insalata caprese, lasagna and minestrone to include panzarotti with Gorgonzola dipping sauce. Also expect the likes of mini eggplant Parm, polenta baked with house-made lamb sausage and...
Heaping portions of garlicky, mouth-watering pasta are served up in this bustling house-like Italian restaurant tucked away on a residential street. The menu caters to carnivores (even the asparagus appetizer is wrapped in prosciutto). By its quaint white Christmas-light-dotted façade, you'll never believe how huge it is inside. Bring a date and an empty stomach, and save room for the tiramisu.
Garden and pottery store sells outdoor, indoor, imported pots, plants and accessories, plus water gardening supplies, including fountains and bamboo.
Never disappointed. Great food and atmosphere. Portions are very big so plan on having leftovers. You must have the tiramisu. In my opinion it's the best in the city. If the waiting list is long you can go to the bar across the street and they will call you. Excellent service!
Everything is amazing! Best meal you'll ever eat! And your leftovers will feed you for a week.
