More than 10 months after word broke of a planned Roots Handmade Pizza location in Lincoln Square, it turns out that The Fifty/50 Group's Quad Cities-inspired pizza spot isn't the only thing coming to 2200 W. Roots makes my favorite pizza in all of Chicago. Actually, now that I think about it, Roots makes my favorite pizza in ALL THE LAND. I just love this stuff, even if it's more expensive than other pizza options in the neighborhood. But who cares about money when it comes to really, really fricking good pizza?

Love the Quad-City style! The crust is not too thick, not too thin and the sauce is so flavorful with just a little kick. You can try something crazy like the Taco Pizza, but I'd suggest just building your own (can get pricey though! ). Also, the mozzarella sticks are amazeballs. Nice ambiance with great big booths and big beet selection!
Mediocre overpriced pizza pretending to be fancy and high class. I don't understand how this filler crust, no taste sauce pizza survives in Chicago
