Business Description from the Web
Despite its strong and well-earned reputation for tolerance, Venice really only has one gay bar. That bar is the Roosterfish and it has been an institution on Abbot Kinney Blvd. for 25 years. There is a special on virtually every day of the week, like Cape Cod Sundays ($3 Cape Cods) and Gold Margarita Wednesdays ($3). The highlight of every week, though, is the You Can’t Beat Our Meat Sundays,...

Venice gay dudes and their friends love to relax at this very understated and decidedly un-West Hollywood neighborhood bar. Theres no dance floor, but theres a pool table, pinball machine, darts and one of the best jukeboxes in town. Its dark but not too sleazy, and its friendly without being too cruisy. Locals love it here since it attracts such a diverse Venice crowd, with industry...

This bright teal-colored building with glass block windows represents the last bastion of pre-trendy Abbot Kinney. Whoa, bathroom has more porn than little brother's under-the-bed stash. This gay dive suits Venice, with an easy feel in its dark hangout. Designer duds less important than an easily removable wife-beater. Sunday busts barbecues and Wednesday, it's margaritas with the boys! Everyone welcome to the fun. Laidback, even for straight slobs who won't get made fun of for going to Supercuts. Wait, a...

Other Reviews from the web
This is a typical quiet dive bar - a bit dark and dirty with cheap drinks. Nothing particularly special about it, but it serves its purpose.
I went to Rooster Fish on a Friday night. The place was not crowded at all, which is fine with me. The problem was that the bartenders were obnoxiously rude. I made eye contact with one of the bartenders on duty, signaling that i wanted to order a few...

This is a great place to go and have a drink. Bartenders are friendly and everyone is very pleasant. 21 and over, gay bar where you can sit back and relax. A bit dark and small. Street parking
We went to order our 3rd round of drinks . I ordered 2 drinks which came up to 16$ .
I thought i had 20$ bill , but it ended up being a 10$ bill .
I told the bartender what happened . He just took the money from my hand and said go get the money from the ATM ( which is like a 5 min walk ) and you can take the drinks .
Then , i said i will come back and pay for the drinks as a whole . He...
