Romancing the Bean is wonderful. I'm new in town, staying in a by-the-week motel while I seek a job. I did a search on wifi and came up with RTB among others.
I tried it on a Wednesday about 9am. (And I am still here at 2pm!) What I love is that not only do they have comfortable seating and large enough tables to put your laptop in the perfect position for work, they have AC outlets all over the place so you don't need to waste your battery. The wifi is free (password-protected) and easy to use and the nice folks who run the place do not put any pressure on you to move along. Oh, and the restrooms are modern and clean. I am impressed and I will be back.

Romancing the Bean's new location has all of the standard coffee drinks (espresso, ice blendeds, cappuccino, etc.) plus a good breakfast and lunch menu and some cookies/desserts. There is also a sitting area with comfy chairs and they have live entertainment some nights. There is a lot of nearby street parking.
Nice to meet for more than casual encounters. Great selection of drinks, good smoothies, and delicious desserts and baked goods. Tried a wrap and was moderately unimpressed. Love the fireplace. A nice couch or two to sink into would make it a five-star coffeehouse.
A corner nook offers coffees, teas, hot chocolate mixes, as well as candles and magnets for sale. There's also a small magazine selection next to the front door for purchase.
The in-house WiFi is offered separate from the free downtown Burbank shared service, meaning it's less congested but password protected. You'll get the password when you place your order.

Oversized banquettes, a large middle of the room communal table and raised window seats fill with laptop-toping locals taking advantage of the free WiFi. The menu...

I went here a couple times but stopped going because the staff had such poor attitudes toward customer service. I walked by recently and they're closed up with a "for lease" sign in the window. I'm wondering why they closed. Does anyone know? Maybe their poor service had something to do with it? That should teach 'em.
I used to study there a lot!! I never just sat there to study. I always ordered something like a juice, water or anything about every hour just so that I don't feel like I'm using the place. It looks nice but there are crawling things between the couches!! I got so disgusted!! I will never go back!!!
Pros
+ Nice looking
Cons
- Strange creatures between couches

I highly recommend Romancing The Bean. Whether I want to meet with friends, hold a casual business meeting or enjoy a relaxing morning with a mug of coffee and book, I head over to RTB. I love good coffee and their double lattes are great! The staff are really sweet and the coffee is excellent. I always believe in supporting the small business owner first, and fortunately, it is a joy to do...
